ELECTROTYPES, BRUTTIUM. Kroton. Circa 425-350 BC. Electrotype "AR Nomos" (21.5mm, 8.17 g, 6h). Derived from a British Museum electrotype (R R on edge). Herakles seated left on rocky outcropping, holding branch and club; altar to left, bow and bow case to right, pair of fish in exergue / Tripod, legs terminating in lion's feet, tied with illet; to left, Apollo Pythios taking aim at a coiled python to right. Head, Guide, Period III.C., 20; GPCG pl. 14, 18. Toned. As made.
