Superb 1819 50 Rigsbankdaler in Choice VF - The Only Example in the PMG Population Report
DENMARK. National Bank. 50 Rigsbankdaler, 1819. PMG Choice Very Fine 35.
Pick-A56. Sieg-73. Bruun-70. The key denomination of this first series of the Nationalbanken. The only example graded by PMG as of the time of cataloging, and a truly rare note that is no doubt missing from even the most renowned cabinets of Danish paper money. An attractive and intricate border design is seen. This example has seen modest circulation, but retains good originality, and a strong visual appearance.
