Problem-Free and Desirable 1819 5 Rigsbankdaler
DENMARK. National Bank. 5 Rigsbankdaler, 1819. PMG Very Fine 25.
Pick-A54. Sieg-71. Bruun-72. The second denomination of this first series of the Nationalbanken. Fairly similar in appearance to earlier issues, but historically important, and rare. While this piece has seen moderated circulation, it is entirely intact, and we can find no faults. While not as rare as the higher denominations, it would be a stretch to call this common, or even 'commonly available.' This example is the sole finest of this denomination in the PMG population report, with just three others graded.
