Arm and Sceptre (BMC xvii) type in the name of Cnut; S-1169; North-799; Hild-3744; SCBI Cop-4083 (plate coin); Bruun-1051. Weight: 1.12 gms. Moneyer: Godman. Peckmark in reverse fourth quarter. Stunningly lustrous and well-struck from a nicely executed die. Very rare.
Like his father, Harthacnut also found his final resting place in Winchester Cathedral.
