Fleur de Lis (BMC Vc) type; S-1165; North-803; cf. Hild-180; SCBI Cop-162 (plate coin); Bruun-1102. Weight: 1.12 gms. Moneyer: Godman. Two peckmarks are noted on the reverse. Attractive example with a deep toning.
Whereas Hildebrand reads the reverse as a York die and the 1928 catalog attributes it to Hereford, there can be little doubt that the issue was actually struck at the Hertfordshire county town.
