Handsome and Very Rare "White Rose" Penny

Schive-IX:19; NM-31 (1976); NM-15 (1992); NMH-239; Bruun-9172; Weight: 0.49 gms. A both handsome and extremely rare "White Rose" type named thus because of its relatively high silver content and the roses that adorn the quarters of the cross. The facing bust is clearly inspired by the contemporary English Sterlings.
