SWEDEN. 4 Mark, 1620. Stockholm Mint. Gustav II Adolf. NGC VF-25.
KM-99,2; SM-62; Delzanno-59; Bruun-11774. Weight: 19.10 gms. Mintmaster: David kohl. Engraver: Hans Weiler. Excessively rare Small Bust variation, possibly unique in private hands with only one in public collections. Weakly struck in central elements making the coin appear more worn than it is, as can be clearly seen in the legend - the Hebrew letters "Yahweh/Jehovah" above the king's head are still sharp.
Falcoin.se only registers one other Small Bust example, which is now at the Avesta Myntmuseum (Avesta Coin Museum).
From the L.E. Bruun Collection.
Ex: Countship of Brahesminde Collection (Private Sale - 1922).
Estimate: 4000 - 5000
