Obverse: Head of Philip V of Macedon facing right, wearing a diademed helmet adorned with goat horns; Φ below the chin, monogram of ROMA behind head. Reverse: Equestrian statue facing right, holding a branch, set upon a raised tablet inscribed PHILIPPVS; flower below the horse; in exergue, star (mark of value). Struck on a slightly rugged flan.
