Authenticity
All items are guaranteed genuine unless otherwise stated in the lot description. Attribution, reference citations, descriptions, grade and valuation are the opinion of the cataloguer, and no warranty is expressed or implied as to its accuracy. Whenever possible or convenient Aegean Numismatics will provide quality photographs for you to be able to judge this information for yourself. All antiquities will be listed with at least one provenance provided. Bidders are more than welcome to inquire about other provenance not listed, either during the course of the auction, or once the bidding is complete. A complete provenance history is not published for obvious privacy concerns.
Returns:
This auction sales is NOT an approval sale and they may not be returned for any reason other than for claims of authenticity. Any claim of lack of authenticity must be made in writing by the original purchaser immediately upon discovery. Once the item has been received Aegean Numismatics will seek the opinion of an industry accepted expert in the material whose authenticity is being questioned and if a consensus is reached and it is determined that the item is not authentic you will receive a full refund including the cost of shipping via the payment method used to pay for the item(s) in question.
Any item returned must be returned in its original condition. Cleaning, altering, damaging or otherwise doing something to the item will automatically void any warranty of authenticity.
