IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR MAIL BIDDERS

1. Each person sending bids by mail or by fax is given a bidder number.
2. Numbers are assigned in the order that they are received.
3. Each bid is entered into the Auction House's master bid book.
4. The opening bid on each lot is established the following way : The Auction
House adds 5 — 10 % to the second highest mail or fax bid. For example, if
the highest bid is ¥100,000 and the next highest bid is ¥50,000, the Auction
House adds 10% to the ¥50,000 bid — thus the starting price is ¥55,000. If
there are no floor bids from people actually at the sale, then the lot is sold
for ¥55,000 to the person who bid ¥100,000. If floor bidding starts, the
House will represent your bid up to your limit. If bidding stops, you will win
that lot at the bid.
The House will attempt to purchase each lot as inexpensively as possible;
therefore you will not necessarily have to pay the full amount of your bid.
5. Before entering your bids, please read “ terms and conditions of
sale” carefully. Your oral or written submission of bids for the sale
constitutes your acceptance of “terms and conditions of sale” .
6. It is important to mail your bid sheet as early as possible. In the event of
duplicate bids, preference is given to the bid received first. Also you must
allow time for the bids to be received and entered.
7. Make sure that your bid sheet is clearly understandable. Please check it
thoroughly before you mail it. The bidder is responsible for any errors,
whether there are lot numbers or the amount that you wish to bid. Please
pay attention.
8. All successful bidders will be notified by Ginza Coins Co. and full settlement
will be expected in Japanese currency within 14 days from the date of the
sale.
9. Please fill out your bid sheet in ink and fill in your telephone number or fax
number as well. If you make a mistake, cross it out and rewrite it.
10. If you need further information, please feel free to contact us. We appreciate
your patronage and look forward to serving you again.
