Terms of Sale

The auction is conducted on order and for the account of the proprietors and on the behalf of the bidders.

Only persons interested in the auction who paid the registration card, that constitutes a deposit, will be admitted. The organisers of the auction can abandon the requirements of deposit payment.

The successful bidders present at the auction are obliged to make their payment in current Polish zlotys (in cash), by the bank transfer or by the secured cheque.

The description of the items has been given with great care and in good faith. The authenticity is guaranteed unconditionally, if not otherwise stated.
Bidding shall start at 80% of the catalogue estimates.

Written orders (e.g., fax or e-mail) as well as phone orders are accepted.
Bidders will be considered as having seen the items. Any complains concerning the description of the items will be accepted by the organisers of the auction only in a written form, the latest before bidding begins. Under no circumstances shall any complain be approved of as soon as the auction commences.

Should any legal action arise, The District Court in Poznań has exclusive jurisdiction for both parties.

All lots are subject to a ‘‘BUYER’S PREMIUM’’ of 15 % on the hammer price. VAT is included in buyer's premium.

The items whose value exceeds 16.000 PLN can be exported outside the Polish borders only after obtaining a single authorization for export. As regards antiques the mode of export and export permits are governed by the Act of 23.07.2003 „The protection and the guardianship of antiques and monuments” together with the amendment of 18.03.2010.

The auctioneer will apply the following bidding procedure:

For bids up to 200 zł by 10 zł

From 200 zł - to 500 zł by 20 zł
From 500 zł - to 1000 zł by 50 zł

From 1000 zł - to 10.000 zł by 100 zł

From 10.000 zł - to upwards 1000 zł

In the case of any doubts on knocking-down, the item will be called down once more.

An item will be knocked down after the highest bid has been called out three times.

The organisers of the auction are not responsible for any legal faults of the items.

The fact of participating in the auction signifies full acceptance of the terms of the auction.

Only the Polish text of these conditions of sale has legal force.
