The auction is open to the public and participation is voluntary. Catalogue prices are minimum prices in euros (€) under which bids are not accepted. The descriptions in the catalogue are made conscientiously. As the lots are on view and may be inspected by the public before the auction Holmasto has no responsability to accept returns for any reasons. In any case reclamations need to be made immediately after the auction. Watches and other mechanical items are sold as collectibles. Holmasto take no reliability for technical issues, condition or functionality regarding such lots. The buyer is strongly advised to carefully examine images and descriptions of such items. The buyer can be held responsible for his/her bids also when acting on behalf of someone else.

A buyer's premium of 22% is added to the hammer price. No deductible tax is included in the buyer’s premium (Margin Scheme).

After the actual Auction-event it is possible to make bids on unsold lots for a certain time with a buyer's charge of 25%.
All lots remain property of the seller until full payment including all additional charges for all lots purchased has been received.

BIDDING

Bids can be made before auction as so called pre-bids (or written bids) or during the auction by participating in the ”Live Bidding”. Pre-bids can be submitted through our website or by email and mail telephone (please send your email and mail bids early!). Bids are handled so that the bidder gets the item for the lowest possible price while taking in consideration possible bids by other clients and the auction’s minimum bid increments. By participating in ”live bidding” one can react to other clients’ bids. More information can be found on our website. Bidders unknown to us are kindly requested to provide references well in advance in order to be able to participate in our auctions.


PAYMENT

Lots should be paid within 6 days after receiving the invoice. Payment can be made by bank transfer or credit card. When payment is made by bank transfer the buyer has to pay all the expenses and fees which are charged for the transfer by both the transferring bank (buyer) and receiving bank (Holmasto). All lots remain property of the seller until full payment including all additional charges for all lots purchased has been received.

SHIPPING

Upon request, the acquired and paid lots will be sent insured, as soon as possible at the expense of the buyer. Insured shipments will be sent by DHL carrier. Uninsured shipments can be sent on buyers request as registered mail. Uninsured shipments must be paid by bank transfer. PLEASE NOTICE CAREFULLY THE FOLLOWING! Insurance variations and procedures exists depending on country and total amount. Holmasto is never responsible for any kind of loss damage, theft or other reasons. When shipments or parts thereof are sent without insurance, shipping will be performed on buyer’s risk.

PAYMENT FAILURE

Reminder fee is €5 per reminder. All unpaid invoices or parts thereof will be subject to a surcharge of 8% per annum calculated from the auction-date.
