We guarantee the authenticity of the pieces presented in this catalog, unless otherwise indicated.

Participation in the auction presupposes the acceptance of the following conditions:

1. All offers will be expressed in Euros. The prices shown in each lot in this catalog are base prices. Bids less than this amount are not accepted. Every participant in this auction is responsible for the offers made. The auctioneer is not responsible for errors in the bids. If, at the time of auction, doubts arise as to the last bidder, the lot will be put back on the market.

2. A commission of 18% will be added to the award price and, on top of this, VAT at the legal rate in force. Numismatic parts will be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt, at the buyer's expense and risk. The corresponding shipping costs will always be borne by the buyer.

3. You can participate in the auction:

- In the living room.
- By purchase order duly sent, by post, fax or e-mail.
- By phone (previously requested).
- By live offer over the internet (LiveAuctionsH).

4. The lots will be awarded to the best bid, with preference in case of equality, the purchase orders of absent buyers over those present in the room, live internet and telephone, and among those absent, those received first.

5. Payment method: cash, bank transfer or check. Any payment method other than these must be communicated in advance. Numismatic Auctions will keep the numismatic pieces in its possession until their total sale.

6. With the entry into force of Law No. 83/2017, of August 18, which establishes Measures to Combat Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing, NUMISMÁTICA NECTIT ET FIRMAT, LDA is obliged to observe the procedures of identification and due diligence, whenever they establish business relationships, namely transactions in an amount equal to or greater than €15,000.00 (fifteen thousand euros), regardless of whether the transaction is carried out through a single operation or through several operations.

Thus, in order to comply with Law No. 67/98, of 26 October – Personal Data Protection Law, our customers are informed that the personal data contained in Model 1 made available by the Food and Economic Safety Authority will be collected, which will be kept by NUMISMÁTICA NECTIT ET FIRMAT, LDA.
As this is a legal obligation, if NUMISMÁTICA NECTIT ET FIRMAT, LDA is not allowed. the collection of the data in question, the latter may refuse to complete the transaction, without any responsibilities being attributed to the auctioneer – art. 50 of Law No. 83/2017, of 18 August.

7. The lots purchased must be picked up within 10 days after the end of the auction. Numismática Leilões reserves the right to cancel the sale and dispose of the lots when the buyer does not pay within 30 days after the auction.

8. If any numismatic part has a defect not described in the catalogue, the buyer may return it within a maximum period of 5 days from the date of shipment. Complaints about the state of conservation of the pieces will not be a justification for the return, unless there has been an error on the part of Numismática Leilões. Any part returned must be in the same condition as it was delivered. Returns from buyers present in the room are not accepted, as it is assumed that they will have previously examined the numismatic pieces. Set lots cannot be returned.

9. The awarded lots can be picked up from the following day, at our premises at Rua D. Luíz de Noronha, No. 26 - 6th Left from 11:00 am. Lots awarded to absent buyers will be sent to them after payment.

10. Numismática Leilões reserves the right to alter the auction for reasons of force majeure, as well as to withdraw any lot for sale.

11. Lots not sold in a room may be purchased up to 10 days after the auction date, and their value will be increased by the sales commission and the respective VAT in force on the commission.

12. In case of dispute, the text that obliges both parties to comply with the conditions is the text written in Portuguese.

13. Participation in this auction implies acceptance of the aforementioned rules. Any litigation will be within the jurisdiction of the district of Lisbon, and the buyer expressly waives any other that may correspond to it.
