We're independent. NumisBids is a neutral platform and is not owned or managed by any auction firm.

Any bids submitted through NumisBids are transferred securely and reliably to the auction houses. Your personal information is not shared with any dealer other than the firms you choose to deal with.

We offer a powerful Want List system, which allows you to search for lots and notifies you when matching lots appear on NumisBids.

What kind of auctions does NumisBids list?

We specialize in advertising auctions from reputable dealers of ancient and world coins, medals, and banknotes. Our coverage includes:

Printed auction catalogs: These are auctions that are published as hard-copy catalogs and mailed to clients. They typically contain the highest quality lots, and most are conducted in a live session, either as a floor auction or online.

NumisBids offers you a way to view and bid in many of these catalogs online in an easy to use and consistent format. For printed auctions that support pre-sale bidding through NumisBids, we will deliver your bids to the auction house securely; you only need to be registered with us.

If you see the Bid Live Online button while browsing an auction, this means that you can participate in the auction live on the Internet while the lots are closing. Please note that NumisBids does not perform this service; we only send you to the external live bidding provider.

E-auctions: These are online sales that allow you to participate in a virtual auction. They typically are arranged similar to printed catalogs, but may feature lower-cost material. To participate in these auctions, you can either place pre-sale bids from NumisBids, or you can register and bid at the Web site of the auction house conducting the auction -- just follow the Bid Live Online link from NumisBids.

Daily auctions: These auctions are similar to e-auctions, but they run continuously, with new items being offered on a daily basis. These auctions are conducted on an external platform to which we provide a link.
