A group of 7 Egyptian stone amulets, Late Period, c. 712 - 343 BC, including a rhyolite "Wedjat", or Eye of Horus, 24x18mm; a nicely detailed rhyolite scarab with flat base, 26x21mm; a rhyolite âIbâ or heart amulet, 28x16mm; a calcite amulet of a scribeâs palette, 22x13mm; a calcite seal amulet, 14x13mm; a rhyolite amulet of a solar disc, 18x18mm; and a calcite menkhet counterpoise amulet, 32x17mm. Each intact with light deposits, a few with small traces of bitumen from the mummy they were originally buried with. Ex Los Angeles private collection.
