Chupicuaro Head. An exceptionally large and well-formed Chupicuaro head fragment from Mexico, ca. 300 – 100 BC. This nicely sculpted example is 3-1/4” high and depicts an individual wearing a headdress and ear spools. Strong mineral deposits and inscribed find site on back. Mounted. Ex Chicago estate.
