Teotihuacan Tripod Dish. A fine Teotihuacan tripod bowl from Mexico, ca. 300 – 400 AD. This nicely burnished Late Tlamimilolpa example is 4-3/4” in diameter, has a flared rim and stands on the characteristic trio of nubbin legs. Strong mineral deposits. Cf. Berrin “Teotihuacan”, page 239.
