Banque Du Congo Belge, ND 1941 Issue, Back Proof Vignette used on 500 Francs ABN Issue. Belgian Congo, 500 Francs, P-18 or 18A, Large die proof of elephants bathing used on back of this rare note. Printed on india paper on large card in dark brown black. The india paper is in excellent condition but the excess margin card has a few light foxing spots. Rare production proof from ABN Archives. 3 3/4" x 2 1/4" on card, native with spear watches bathing elephants, EF with a few very trivial light stains, mounting remnants on the back of the card only.
