World War II Pacific Theatre Souvenir Notes. 1940s. A group of 10 New Caledonia notes (P36, P37, P51 and P55) and 3 Japanese P51 notes, all with notations by D. T. Dedita "CM 1/c," a Navy "Sea Bee" who sent these home as souvenirs of World War II. Also included is a Southern Pacific Railroad train assignment slip, an American Express Insignia of the Army & Marine Corps brochure, a 50 Sen Tokyo Snack Bar P. X. Hattori Building note, and a printed poem about New Caledonia. [14]
