SICILY, Segesta. Circa 410-400 BC. Æ Trias (20.5mm, 8.49 g, 8h). Head of Aigiste right; ivy leaf behind neck / Hound standing right, devouring hare; four annulets (mark of value) above. Bérend, Monnayage, Group C, 41; CNS 37; HGC 2, 1184. Fine, red and green patina, some roughness, reverse off center. Very rare.
