ISLANDS off ATTICA, Aegina. Circa 456/45-431 BC. AR Stater (20mm, 12.22 g). Land tortoise with segmented shell / Large square incuse with skew pattern. Meadows, Aegina, Group IIIb; HGC 6, 437. Good VF, toned, countermark and graffiti ("CA") on obverse, light scuff on reverse.
