ARGOLIS, Argos. Circa 500/490-470 BC. AR Triobol (13mm, 2.83 g, 12h). Forepart of wolf at bay left / Large A; two small incuse squares above, three pellets across central field; all within shallow incuse square. BCD Peloponnesos 1005 var. (pellet on wolf); HGC 5, 660. VF, dark find patina, cleaning marks on obverse. Extremely rare variety.
