CRETE, Gortyna. Circa 245-221 BC. Æ (23mm, 8.01 g, 4h). Head of Artemis right, wearing hair bound with taenia and tied in a bunch behind, bow and quiver on shoulder / Bull standing left, head right; all within wreath. Jackson pl. 12, 6; Svoronos, Numismatique 107; SNG Copenhagen 458; Traeger 91-2. Fine, rough brown surfaces, small hole near edge, partially plugged. Rare.
