CRETE, Gortyna. Circa 220 BC. Æ (13mm, 2.26 g, 9h). Laureate head of Apollo right within circle of dots / Bull butting left. Cf. Jackson e, pl. 13, 12; Svoronos, Numismatique 141, pl. XVI, 7; SNG Copenhagen 457; Traeger 93d (this coin, illustrated). Near VF, red-brown patina, thick deposits on reverse. Very rare.
