CRETE, Gortyna. Circa 220 BC. Æ (13.5mm, 2.68 g, 3h). Large laureate head of Zeus right within circle of dots / Europa riding bull galloping left, holding billowing veil floating above. Cf. Jackson g, pl. 14, 2; cf. Svoronos, Numismatique 125, pl. XV, 27; SNG Copenhagen 451-2; Traeger 95. Near Fine, brown and green patina, some roughness. Rare.
