CRETE, Gortyna. Circa 85-82 BC. Æ (12mm, 2.37 g, 9h). Head of Hermes right, wearing petasos; all within circle of dots / Bull butting right within circle of dots. Jackson pl. 14, 16; cf. Svoronos, Numismatique 188; SNG Copenhagen 454-6; Traeger –. Fine, brown surfaces, minor deposits, off center. Very rare.
