Gordian III. AD 238-244. Æ Sestertius (29mm, 19.15 g, 1h). Rome mint, 1st officina. 8th-11th emissions, late AD 240-early 243. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Sol standing left, raising hand and holding globe. RIC IV 297a; Banti 20. Good VF, dark brown patina with touches of red.
