CRETE, Knossos. Nero. AD 54–68. Æ (24mm, 8.82 g, 7h). Volumnius & Lupinus, duoviri. Struck circa AD 55-60. Bare head of Nero right, slight drapery; scepter over shoulder / Head of Octavia right, surmounted by crescent, vis–à-vis head of Nero left, surmounted by star. Cf. RPC 1005–6; cf. Svoronos, Numismatique 217; SNG Copenhagen –; Traeger 199e. Fine, brown patina, obverse off center. Rare.
