EGYPT, Alexandria. Hadrian. AD 117-138. BI Tetradrachm (24mm, 13.38 g, 12h). Dated RY 9 (AD 124/125). Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Nike seated left on cuirass, holding wreath and palm frond; shield set upon two other cuirasses to right; ET Θ (date) across field. Köln 883; Dattari (Savio) 1415; K&G 32.324; Emmett 871.9 (R5). VF, find patina with some light verdigris. Very rare, a one-year type for Hadrian.

From a Hungarian Collection formed primarily in the 1930's.
