SCOTLAND. Alexander III. 1249-1286. AR Penny (19mm, 1.40 g, 5h). Struck circa 1280-1286. Crowned head left; lis-tipped scepter to left / Long cross pattée, with 24 points on mullets in quarters. Burns 50 (fig. 198); SCBI 35 (Ashmolean & Hunterian), 233-4; SCBC 5055. Good VF, toned.
