CHINA – MEDALS, 中國 - 紀念章, Republic 民國: Chinese Products Exhibition Special Prize 中華國貨展覽會特獎, ND (1928), comprising a Brass Medal, Obv government building within circle surrounded by "工商部中華國貨展覽會特獎 湖南省有黑鉛鍊廠紀念章", Rev "國光" between sun and globe, 31.5mm, with chain and pin; and a Silver Platter adorned with "中華 C E" in circle, a butterfly and flowers, 80mm x 114mm. The medal extremely fine, the silver plate very fine.
The Chinese Products Exhibition, the largest of its kind in Chinese history up to then, was organised by the Industry and Commerce Department of the Nationalist Government, the Shanghai Municipal Government and the Shanghai Chamber of Commerce in Shanghai in 1928
