JAPAN. Silver Crowns & Minors, ca. 1870-1914.
21 pieces in lot. Includes: (9) 1 Yen (Y-A25.3 & 38), (3) 50 Sen (Y-4 & 25) and (9) 20 Sen (Y-24 & 30) of various dates. The Yens display some residue from long term storage, and one has some chopmarks on the reverse. The early type 50 Sen has some hairlines, and a few pieces show signs of cleaning sometime in the past. The majority however are wholesome examples with many high grade lustrous pieces worthy of close inspection. Retail value of about $2,000. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. EXTREMELY FINE-BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED.
