13 pieces in lot. Comprised of pieces from various stops along the silk road from different eras. Includes: (4) Sassanian AR Drachms from the Levant, (3) Islamic AV Dinars from Arabia, (4) Gupta Empire AV Dinars from India, and (3) Sinkiang province 5 Mace from eastern China. An interesting assortment of Asian coinages, many of which circulated for long periods of time along the trade routes. Mostly nice examples, the silver pieces with a surprising amount of remaining luster. Some evidence of cleaning and some verdigris deposits. Retail value of about $1,200. Should be examined. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. FINE-ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
