38.8 mm (excluding hanger and ribbon); 21.65 gms. Li-pg. 131 (plate example). Pair of flying dragons surrounding three lines of inscription; Reverse: Inscription indicating that the medal was issued during the first year of Emperor Hsuan-tung (1909). With original purple silk ribbon which is attached at the top of the medal by a silver wire filigree hanger. Presented to the winners of the Exposition by Governor Ch'en K'uei-lung. Hairlines from being harshly cleaned long ago and some minor surface marks. Now slightly subdued from toning. EXTREMELY FINE.
