CHINA. Order of the Precious Tripod, Second Class, ND (Instituted 1929).
Barac-400, 401; Li-pg. 106-107; Werlich-232, 233. Star, Badge, and Sash cased set. Includes an 80 mm Breast Star, gilt silver and enamels, with green tripod on red-bordered blue central medallion. The reverse with a single hinged tunic pin, however the simple clasp (which is included) has been broken off at the solder joint. The Star is numbered with an incuse 70 on the reverse. The 67 mm Sash Badge is similar, but smaller and bifacial. The Sash itself is the original 70 mm x approximately 1.5 m silver and blue silk version with a large rosette. Housed in its original compartmented presentation box. Other than the broken clasp, which can be easily repaired, the condition is ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
