L&M-471; K-244; Y-87; WS-0583. Narrow mouth dragon. Nicely struck giving good definition to the dragon's scales. Only the most trivial of contact marks or evidence of handling. Mild toning with underlying luster. This piece used as a plate example in "Top Chinese Coins" by Chou, Guth and Smith. Tied with five other pieces in this grade, two PCGS and three NGC, with only two finer. NGC MS-63.
