CHINA. Kwangtung. 3 Mace 6 Candareens (50 Cents), ND (1891). NGC SP-61.
L&M-134; K-27; Y-202; WS-0943. VERY RARE specimen strike of the first "standard pattern" 50 Cents. Deeply toned fields on both sides, with the devices being slightly lighter. The reverse is also a bit lighter indicating that it was the side facing down during the coin's long term storage. Despite the deep toning the mirror specimen surfaces are evident. One of twenty-three examples graded as specimens. NGC SP-61.
