Minted to commemorate the first anniversary of the appointment of Chu Yu-pu as governor of Chihli. Attractive plum colored toning on obverse over brilliant surfaces. The reverse is lightly toned with golden russet hues around devices and brilliant luster throughout. One of only eleven examples graded by PCGS or NGC and the third highest at PCGS.
