CHINA. Mixed Medals, ND.
3 pieces in lot. An intriguing lot of Chinese and China related medals. Includes a 23.5 mm cast silvery metal piece with an image of both sides of a Kwang Si silver 20 Cent coin on one side, and three inscriptions on the reverse. A loop has been removed from the top. A couple characters on the obverse suggest that this might possibly be a personal identification tag, perhaps for the mint. A second piece is a 31 mm copper medal suspended from a blue ribbon. The inscription indicates that this is an award for hard work for an office of the Chinese Nationalist Republic in Peru. The final piece is a multi-part hanging badge for the Hong Kong branch of the Royal Antediluvian Order of Buffaloes, Grand Lodge of England. This 110 x 43 mm badge is composed of a gilt enameled badge with a dragon on the front, and the member's name and lodge affiliation on the reverse. It is suspended by a green and yellow ribbon with gilt and enamel clasps labeled "HONG KONG" and "SINGAPORE". A gilt and enamel pin back suspension bar is inscribed "DONOR". SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. VERY FINE-EXTREMELY FINE.
Estimate: $200.00- $300.00
