Hiberno-Norse Vikings, early period, 919-25, Pennies (3), 0.35g, St Peter sword type, sci¯pe / triiio in two lines, divided by sword placed horizontally across field, pommel to the left, cross above legend? and at tip of sword, letter i in legend represented by an inverted voided mallet, rev. +e[borac]ei divided by annulet between each letter, cross pattée with pellets in angles within inner circle (Blackburn II, p.38; N.555; S.1014), a small fragment of c.20%, some of the sword depiction visible, extremely fine, 0.33g, St Peter sword type, [sci¯p]e / tr]iiio in two lines, divided by sword placed horizontally across field, pommel to the left, trefoil of pellets at tip of sword, letter i in legend represented by an inverted voided mallet, rev. +eb[orace]i, cross pattée with pellets in angles within inner circle (Blackburn II, p.38; N.555; S.1014), also fragmented, c.20% of the coin remaining, nearly extremely fine, 0.45g, St Peter sword type, [s]ci¯p[e / t]ri[iio] in two lines, divided by sword placed horizontally across field, pommel to the left, cross above legend and at tip of sword? letter i in legend represented by an inverted voided mallet, rev. [+ebo]ra[cei] with dispersed? pellets in legend, cross pattée with pellets in angles within inner circle, crescent in field (Blackburn II, p.38; N.555; S.1014), c.25% fragment and fragile with crack running down centre, the remaining coin a superb grade , and depicting a good proportion of the sword, extremely fine (3).
