(x) Eadmund (939-946), Penny, uncertain weight, horizontal trefoil I type (HT1), Southern mint, small cross pattée within inner circle, +eadmvnd re, rev. pig / ard n, divided by three small cross pattée, trefoil above and below (CTCE p.125, No 92; N.688; S.1105), obverse double struck in legend, once cleaned and now retoned, much of the original surfaces remaining on reverse with the crudely engraved die sinkers' guide marks still visible showing where the moneyer's name should be punched, good very fine, in PGCS holder and graded AU50.
