Richard III (1483-85), Halfpenny, 0.29g, London, m.m. boar's head, crowned bust facing, [ricard] di gr[a rex] , rev. long cross with trefoil of pellets in each quarter (Stewartby p.450; Withers 3a; N.1688; S.2170), flan slightly crimped at top of obverse, the flan average for this coinage, this a good example of the thin Withers 3a bust of Richard, good very fine for this and rare.
