(x) Edward VI (1547-53), Third period 1550-53, Sovereign, uncertain weight, Tower mint, m.m. tun, crowned half-length figure of king right, holding sword and orb, rev. crowned shield with supporters (Schneider 691; N.1927; S.2450), the centres weak but periphery well struck, a full piece and well-centred, a hard coin to grade but overall nearly very fine or possibly better, PCGS slabbed as XF45. Estimate: £16,000.00 - £18,000.00
