Kingdom of Parthia, Mithradates IV (c.58-55 BC), AR Drachm, 3.88g, Mithradatkart, diademed and draped bust left, rev, square seven-line legend, archer seated right on throne, holding out bow before him over monogram (Sellwood 40.4; Sunrise 350; Shore 192), beautifully toned, about very fine, together with AR Drachms of Orodes I (newly attributed to Mithradates III), draped bust left wearing diademed tiara with star on side, rev. similar, no monogram (Sellwood 31.5), and Orodes II, diademed and draped bust left, rev. similar, monogram before archer (Sellwood 45.9), good fine to about very fine (3).
