MAXIMINUS I, 235-238 AD. AE Limes Denarius (2.22 gm). Laureate draped bust / Providentia standing holding baton and cornucopia, globe at feet. cf RIC.13. VF+, dark brown patina. These AE denarii are thought to be base metal coins issued to troops on
