THRACIAN DYNASTS. Koson (ca. 44-42 BC). AV stater (21mm, 8.20 gm, 11h). Roman consul (L. Junius Brutus) walking left, accompanied by two lictors fore and aft, monogram before, KOΣON in exergue / Eagle with spread wings standing left on scepter, clutching laurel wreath in right talon. RPC 1701. Sharply struck on a broad flan and fully lustrous. NGC Choice MS 5/5 - 5/5.
