PONTIC KINGDOM. Mithradates VI Eupator (120-63 BC). AR tetradrachm (29mm, 16.72 gm, 12h). Pergamum, dated Bithynian Era 209 (87/6 BC). Diademed head of Mithradates right, long hair in disarray / BAΣIΛEΩΣ MIΘPAΔATOY EYΠATOPOΣ, stag grazing left; star-in-crescent to left; to left, ΘΣ (year) above monogram; all within Dionysiac ivy wreath. De Callatay D58/R42. SNG BM Black Sea 1034. Cf. SNG Copenhagen 234 (year 210). Small pockmark on cheek, minor surface marks, otherwise Good Very Fine.
