Copper, 42mm, 34.12g. Extremely Fine, minor edge bumps. Obverse: EXPOSICAO BRASILEIRA-ALLEMA PORTO ALEGRE E RIO GRANDE DO SUL View of the main pavilion of the Exhibition. Reverse: 3-line inscription in Latin. HONRA AO MERITO. A copper award for the aforementioned exhibition.- VC-unl., Meili-unl. Silver, 42mm, 38.90g. Uncirculated, cleaned on the obverse. Similar to last but a silver award.- VC-unl., Meili-unl. Gold, 42mm, 60.09g. About Uncirculated, cleaned, minor edge bump at 9 o'clock on the obverse. Similar to last, but in gold.Organized by one Carlos von Koseritz, the 1881 Brazilian-German Exhibition was the first international exhibition held in Brazil and mostly featured products from German colonists. It was held from November 1881 until February 1882. The copper medal scarce, the silver rare and the gold extremely rare, the latter two unlisted as such in Meili.
