Alexander I as Prince copper Specimen Essai 10 Santim 1880-OM SP64 Brown PCGS, KM-E1. Mintage: 8. Struck by Oeschger Mesdach & Co. Fully original and highly attractive with mellow iridescent blue tone in the open fields and alluring mint red highlights around the protected devices. The strike, also rather notable, features especially high rims and sharply-defined dentils. The last example of this rarity we offered, graded NGC MS62 and sold in our April 2012 auction, realized $5,175.
