Lustrous Mint State with the expected scattered handling marks for the assigned grade and the usual slightly grainy surfaces resulting from the use of quite rusty dies. A most desirable representative of this very scarce one-year type (official mintage is a scant 3,389 pieces) rarely seen in this technical designation. A lesser specimen in AU55 NGC certification hammered at $6,250 as lot 23423 in our 1/2014 Signature Sale.
